Why stay at Tropica?

A small resort where the days feel like your own

With 28 bures and suites, Tropica keeps the experience intimate. Every current accommodation category includes a private pool.

Fijian design, tropical gardens and outdoor showers give the rooms a real sense of place. There is a 25-metre infinity-edge resort pool for a change of scene, a day spa for quiet afternoons and a beachfront setting that makes it easy to slow down.

A swim before breakfast, a little island exploring, then time together as the sun goes down.

Tropica normally welcomes guests aged 16 and over. It suits a relaxed adult holiday rather than a family stay with younger children. If you are travelling with friends, tell us the bedding you need so we can confirm the right room arrangement.

Accommodation

Three ways to enjoy your own island pool

Choose a beachfront position or a quieter elevated garden setting. All three categories have air-conditioning, indoor and outdoor showers, tea and coffee facilities and a mini fridge. Full breakfast is included in the current standard stay inclusions.

Sanctuary Pool Suite

Set behind the main resort in tropical gardens, these suites offer an open-plan bedroom and living area, a private pool and a daybed. An outdoor courtyard shower adds to the island feel. Access involves an incline and stairs.

Beachfront Pool Bure

Stay just metres from the shoreline, with your own pool, deck and an ocean outlook. Indoor and outdoor showers and a private place to sit make it easy to spend long afternoons close to your bure. This category can accommodate up to three eligible guests, subject to bedding confirmation and extra-person charges.

Deluxe Pool Bure

An elevated, more secluded setting with open-plan living, a generous private pool and a tropical outdoor shower area. A lovely choice for a special occasion or a holiday with extra privacy. These bures are reached by stairs.

Find your fit

Choose the outlook and access that suit you

A Beachfront Pool Bure brings you closest to the shoreline. The Sanctuary and Deluxe categories offer elevated garden settings, with stairs to consider.

Room capacities and twin-bed arrangements vary by category and booking conditions. Forever Fiji will confirm the exact layout for your party before booking. Please let us know about any mobility requirements at the enquiry stage.

Dining

Fresh island flavours, with sunset on the side

Lakalaka Restaurant and Bar is the resort’s main open-air dining venue, beside the pool with an ocean outlook.

Lakomai Bar sits at the water’s edge, a lovely setting for a drink or a relaxed meal as evening approaches.

For a celebration, ask about a private pier dinner, an oceanfront table or an island picnic. Advance reservations and additional charges apply to these special experiences.

Breakfast included, with optional full board

Full breakfast is included with current standard accommodation arrangements. An optional Full Board Meal Plan adds a two-course lunch and three-course dinner; drinks are excluded. The plan is for the full stay, with the applicable booking conditions confirmed in your quote.

Tell us about allergies and dietary needs before booking so the resort can confirm what it can provide. Your quote will clearly set out meals, drinks and special dining inclusions. A stay at Tropica should not be assumed to include every meal or beverage.

Spa and relaxation

Leave a little time for doing very little

Book a treatment at Tropica Day Spa, with options including traditional Fijian bobo massage, facials and couples treatments.

Then take the afternoon slowly by the resort pool or return to the privacy of your own pool.

Spa treatments are additional unless included in your confirmed package, and appointments are subject to availability. For an anniversary or honeymoon, we can help you plan the right combination of room, dining and spa experiences.

Included experiences

Simple pleasures on the water and ashore

Use the resort’s kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and snorkelling equipment, with activities guided by the day’s weather and water conditions. Cultural activities and evening entertainment offer a chance to experience Fijian hospitality beyond the beach.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in rooms and public areas. Daily schedules and available equipment can change, so check the resort programme when you arrive.

Add an adventure to your island days

Ask about guided snorkelling trips, diving, fishing, surfing excursions, a Monuriki Island visit or a trip to Solevu Village. Sunset cruises and nearby floating-bar visits offer other ways to enjoy the surrounding islands.

Excursions and motorised activities are separately charged unless specified in your package. Minimum numbers, experience requirements, weather and sea conditions apply; wildlife sightings and particular sites cannot be guaranteed.

Getting to Tropica

From New Zealand to Malolo Island

Fly into Nadi International Airport and continue to Tropica by sea or helicopter. Forever Fiji can coordinate flights, mainland connections and island transfers around your travel dates.

By sea

Most marine transfers depart from Port Denarau, approximately 25 minutes by road from Nadi Airport. Scheduled catamaran journeys vary with the route and island stops; direct services can take about 45 minutes, while multi-stop journeys take around 90 minutes. Water taxis and private speedboats are also available on request.

By helicopter

A helicopter flight from Nadi takes around 10 minutes, subject to availability and conditions. Passenger minimums, baggage limits and weather restrictions apply. We will confirm the permitted luggage and final schedule with your quote.

Allow time for international arrival formalities and transfer check-in. An overnight mainland stay may be needed if your flight does not connect with the available service. Transfers and applicable fuel surcharges are included only when specified in your package.
