Accommodation
Stylish and spacious interiors.
The resort offers traditionally inspired individual bure accommodation with stylish and spacious interiors.
Sixty-five spacious bures featuring traditional Fijian style thatched roofs are nestled amongst lush tropical gardens or at the water’s edge.
Stylish interiors using natural rattan and local timber furnishings feature high vaulted ceilings lined with hand painted ‘Tapa’ cloth – each one a unique and individual design.
All bures are air conditioned as well as fan cooled.
Most feature one king size bed and two additional single beds in their configuration, with those bures comfortably sleeping four persons.
Bures for Larger Groups
Enough room for groups and families.
For larger families, Castaway Five* concept features bures configured with an additional full-size single bed (or cot as required).
Additionally, the three bedroom Family Beach bure sleeps up to ten persons offering two king beds, six single beds and two bathrooms.
The Grand bure is configured to sleep up to 6 persons with 1 king bed and 4 single making it great for families with many kids or friends travelling together.

Holidaying with kids is easy on Castaway Island, Fiji The Fijians’ love of children is legendary and you can be assured your children will be well cared for by your Castaway family.
The free Castaway Kids Club is renowned as the place to be for fun.
Supervised daily adventures and educational games with a distinctive Fijian flair run throughout the day and into the evening. Designed for children 3 years and over, our Kid’s Club offers fully supervised activities from 9:00am to 4:00pm and then from 5.30pm to 10:00pm daily.
If preferred, babysitters are also available throughout the day and evening at a nominal charge.

Over the years Castaway have refined their menus, added dining options and recently rebuilt their kitchens.
The Waters Edge restaurant remains the place to dine – breakfast, lunch and dinner are served either in the shade of the main building or out on the decking and wharf area.
Featuring locally inspired menus you will certainly never be left wanting.
For lighter snacks you can now dine at the Nuku Marau by the family pool – try hand-rolled sushi, hibachi skewers, burgers, or ice cream all day for the kids.
Sundowner Bar
Plenty of dining venues.
Retire to the Sundowner Bar for wood fired pizzas, or for an adults only treat, Restaurant 1808 is open several nights a week offering a truly unique Fijian dining experience.
1808 is a fusion of the past and present – how Fiji used to eat, with a modern twist, melding Polynesian, Melanesian and Micronesian cuisine.
