A resort that gives different holidays room to happen
A family swim in the morning, lunch by the beach and an unhurried evening under the palms.
The main resort welcomes families, with a lagoon pool, waterslide and Niu Beach Club for Kids. On the adults-only side, selected rooms and suites create a quieter base. Waitui Beach Club adds a separate poolside experience for eligible guests aged 16 and over.
Beyond the resort, Port Denarau gives you dining, shopping and island-excursion options. Stay in one place for an easy break, or ask us to combine Denarau with an island resort.
Travelling in January or February 2027?
Waitui Beach Club and Waitui Bar & Grill are scheduled to close from 11 January to 24 February 2027 while the pool and surrounding club area are retiled and resurfaced. If these facilities are a priority, speak with us before choosing your dates or room. We will confirm the latest arrangements with the resort.

Rooms in different parts of the resort come with different access and inclusions. We will confirm the exact category, bedding and permitted occupancy for everyone travelling.
Superior and Luxury rooms
Superior King and Superior Twin rooms provide a comfortable base on the family side. Luxury King rooms, pictured here in a split-bed configuration, sit on the adults-only side and accommodate up to two guests aged 16 and over.
A Luxury King booking does not automatically include Waitui Beach Club access. If you want that experience, ask us to compare the specifically named Waitui categories.
Family Room and Luxury Family Room
A separate bunk-bed area gives children a space of their own. Family Rooms are on upper levels; Luxury Family Rooms are on the ground floor with an extended outdoor deck.
Both are designed for up to two adults and two children, with age and bedding conditions to confirm. Their listed benefits include Niu Beach Club access for two eligible children. Neither category includes Waitui Beach Club access.
Family suites and adults-only suites
The Family Suite combines a king bed with a children’s bunk area and includes Waitui access for eligible adults. A Two Bedroom Family Suite uses an interconnecting suite-and-room layout for a larger travelling party. Prestige, Opera and Imperial suites are on the adults-only side.
Suite benefits can include lounge access and selected spa or other extras. These vary by category and rate. We will compare what matters to you rather than assume that all suites have the same privileges.
A quieter poolside escape for guests aged 16 and over
Waitui Beach Club has pools, cabanas and an adults-only bar and restaurant.
Eligible club guests can enjoy refreshments during the day and a scheduled evening drinks-and-canapés service.
Luxury Waitui King and Luxury Waitui Plus King rooms include club access during normal operation. Waitui Plus adds an extended ground-floor deck and further benefits, including Journal Lounge access and a selected spa treatment.
Access is tied to the booked room or inclusive package. It is not available automatically to every Sofitel guest. The planned 11 January–24 February 2027 closure applies to both the club and Waitui Bar & Grill.
Make space for play
Niu Beach Club for Kids welcomes children aged 3–12, with splash-and-play areas, a climbing wall, beach playground and indoor activity spaces.
Sessions require registration, and parents or guardians must sign children in and out.
Club access is included with selected family room categories. For other bookings, session fees may apply. Meals are separate from the standard session charge, so let us check the arrangement that suits your children.
Babysitting can be arranged for younger children, with advance booking and additional charges. There is also a Teen Zone for older children; ask about current activities and age guidance when planning your stay.
A different flavour for each evening
Start the day with breakfast at Bazaar Kitchen & Bar.
For later meals, Solis brings Mediterranean and seafood dishes to the beachside setting, while Madame So explores Vietnamese flavours.
La Parisienne offers a café stop, and Suka is a relaxed choice for a drink beside the beach. Eligible adults can also dine at Waitui Bar & Grill when it is operating. Advance reservations are worthwhile for preferred venues and special occasions.
Breakfast-inclusive options are available. Lunch, dinner, drinks and special dining are additional unless included in your confirmed package. Let us know dietary requirements before booking so we can check suitable choices.
Set aside a little time for yourself
Sofitel Spa’s treatment bures offer a quiet setting for individual and couples appointments.
Choose a massage or a longer spa experience, then return to the rest of your day at an easier pace.
A fitness centre and hair and beauty services add to the resort’s facilities. Spa and salon services are chargeable unless a particular treatment is included with your booked room or package. Appointments and any included treatment conditions should be confirmed in advance.
Add a little adventure
Complimentary non-motorised watersports include kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and Hobie Cat sailing, with limited session times, safety briefings and operating conditions.
KaiWai Watersports also offers activities such as parasailing, jet-ski experiences, sailing trips and private charters. These are additional unless specifically included. Availability, weather, sea conditions and participant requirements apply.
Compare the whole holiday
Selected room categories have benefits such as laundry, minibar items, lounge access or a Seventh Heaven day-trip offer. They are not resort-wide inclusions and can carry minimum stays, age limits, advance-booking requirements and cancellation conditions.

A short drive from Nadi to your resort
Fly into Nadi International Airport and continue to Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa by road. The resort advises approximately 20–25 minutes for a private airport transfer, depending on traffic.
Forever Fiji can coordinate your flights, accommodation and transfer. Tell us about child seats, luggage or assistance requirements so the right vehicle can be requested. Transfers are an additional arrangement unless your confirmed package includes them.
A few details make a better holiday
Let us know if step-free access, a particular bathroom layout, a ground-floor room or transfer assistance is important. Suitability depends on the specific room and facilities you need; we will ask the resort to confirm these rather than rely on a general accessibility description.
We will also set out the room occupancy, inclusions, applicable taxes and fees, minimum stay and cancellation conditions in your quote. Different dates and room categories may have different terms.

No. Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa welcomes families and has dedicated family facilities. Waitui Beach Club and certain accommodation areas are for guests aged 16 and over.
No. Luxury King rooms are on the adults-only side, but that category does not include Waitui access. Luxury Waitui King, Luxury Waitui Plus King and selected suites or packages include it, subject to the club operating and the booking conditions.
The resort has announced a closure from 11 January to 24 February 2027 for the Waitui pool and surrounding beach club works. Waitui Bar & Grill will also be closed. We will check the latest arrangements before confirming a stay during those dates.
Selected family room categories include access for two eligible children. Other bookings may incur a session fee, and meals are charged separately from standard sessions. The club caters for ages 3–12; tell us your children’s ages so we can check the details.
Family Rooms and Luxury Family Rooms do not include Waitui access. The Family Suite is a different category with access for eligible adults. Children cannot enter the adults-only club under its normal operating rules.
Breakfast-inclusive bookings are available, but the full inclusions depend on the rate and package you choose. Airport transfers are a separate arrangement unless your quote includes them. We will spell out both before you book.
