Beach days, reef adventures and a very personal welcome
One island, one resort, and plenty of room to unwind.
Choose an easy-going garden-view room near the central facilities, or make a private plunge pool part of your holiday. Away from your room, there is an infinity pool, ocean-view dining and a spa tucked into the island’s greenery.
Guests must be aged 16 or over. Forever Fiji can help you choose the right room, meal plan and transfer combination for your holiday from New Zealand.
Find your favourite island hideaway
All three accommodation categories have air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, tea and coffee facilities and complimentary Wi-Fi. Bures and villas add their own plunge pool, outdoor shower and thatched gazebo with daybed.
Island Room
A comfortable garden-view choice close to the main pool, restaurant and bar. The 13 Island Rooms each have a covered veranda and a split king bed, which can be arranged as two singles on request. Maximum two guests; this category does not have a private pool.
Beachfront Pool Bure
A freestanding bure near the beach, with a king bed, lounge and sofa bed. Step outside to your plunge pool, sun deck and shaded gazebo. The resort’s 24 bures face either east or west; preferred locations are requests rather than guarantees. Maximum three guests.
Oceanfront Pool Villa
Ten freestanding villas line the north-facing shore. A split-level layout places the king bedroom above the lounge, with a covered deck, private plunge pool and gazebo outdoors. Access is via a walkway or resort golf cart. Maximum three guests, with a sofa bed for the third guest.
A room that suits your stay
Every guest must meet the resort’s minimum age of 16. Let us know if you need twin bedding or space for a third adult, as availability, extra-person charges and layouts vary. The current contracted stay conditions include a minimum three-night stay; we will confirm the terms for your dates.

Good food and an ocean outlook
Vale Ni Blau, the House of Waves, brings together Fijian and international flavours.
Breakfast is included in the current contracted accommodation arrangements, with cooked-to-order options. The restaurant’s dinner menus change through the week, while the bar looks over the pool and ocean.
Optional Half Board adds dinner; Full Board adds lunch and dinner. Current plans provide a two-course lunch and three-course dinner, with tea or coffee. Other beverages cost extra. Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve meal-plan supplements apply, and menus and inclusions are confirmed for your travel dates.
Tell us about dietary needs when enquiring so the resort can confirm what it can accommodate.
Unwind above the sea
The treetop spa is a lovely place to set aside an hour for yourself. Massage, facials and body treatments draw on Fiji’s island ingredients, including Nama sea grapes.

Treatments are optional, charged separately and best arranged in advance.
Planning a honeymoon, birthday or anniversary? Tell us at booking. Celebration touches may be available under qualifying arrangements, with advance notice and supplier confirmation.
Do a little, or do a lot
Enjoy complimentary non-motorised recreation such as kayaking and shore snorkelling, along with tennis, table tennis and beach volleyball. Ask the activities team about guided island walks and the changing cultural programme.
Sea conditions, weather, tides, equipment availability and your own experience matter. Follow the team’s guidance before heading onto the water or walking around the island.
Discover the Mamanucas
Purple Turtle Fiji operates diving and excursions from the resort. Guided snorkel safaris, diving, fishing and visits to nearby islands or villages can add another dimension to your stay.
These organised excursions are charged separately and operate subject to conditions, schedules and any minimum numbers. Diving also has experience, age and health requirements to confirm with the operator.

Your island journey from New Zealand
Fly to Nadi, then connect by road to Port Denarau for your island transfer. Scheduled catamarans and direct speedboat services operate to Matamanoa; private water taxis and helicopter options may also be arranged.
Allow roughly 75 minutes for a direct speedboat journey, with other services varying by route and stops. We will match the available service to your flights. Transfers are not automatically included with a room booking; any inclusions, luggage limits, fuel supplements and additional charges will be set out in your quote.
Plan the connections before booking flights
Sea and air transfers depend on weather, operating schedules and daylight restrictions. An overnight stay on the mainland may be needed when flights do not connect. Ask us to check the whole journey in both directions.
Mobility and access
Island paths, steps, boat boarding and the split-level villa layout may affect suitability. Please tell us about access requirements before booking so we can confirm the room, route and transfer arrangements with the resort. We do not assume that golf-cart access makes a room wheelchair accessible.
Make your island escape your own
Explore our existing Matamanoa offer, then ask us to tailor the dates, room and meals to suit you. Package availability and inclusions vary, and any later-season benefits are confirmed for the actual dates of travel.
