Why stay at Yasawa?

Space to switch off, with plenty worth exploring

A small resort, a remote setting and a generous range of included experiences make Yasawa a rewarding place to linger.

Meals and selected non-alcoholic drinks are included, along with the scheduled activity programme. You can discover the coastline, spend time with the people who call this island home and return to the comfort of your bure without filling every day with plans.

Yasawa particularly suits couples looking for a quiet escape, friends travelling together and families able to travel during designated Family Weeks. We’ll help you choose the right accommodation and arrange the island connections around your international flights.

Accommodation

A bure with room to slow down

Choose from six accommodation categories, with ocean outlooks, outdoor space and air-conditioned bedroom areas. Pool categories are reserved for adult stays. We’ll confirm occupancy, bedding and access for your chosen room.

Bure Suites

Set in pairs among the palms, these suites share an adjoining wall while offering their own living space and deck. A welcoming choice for two, with eligible family arrangements available during confirmed Family Weeks.

Living area and ocean-facing deck in the Two-Bedroom Bure at Yasawa Island Resort

Two-Bedroom Bure

An elevated setting with two bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms and a central living area. Suitable for up to four adults, or an approved family configuration during Family Weeks. Ask us to check the precise bedding and access.

Hammock, private deck and pool overlooking the beach at Yasawa Island Resort’s Lomalagi Bure

Lomalagi Pool Bure

A secluded retreat at the end of the beach, with its own pool and generous outdoor space. This is a special choice for a honeymoon or anniversary. Ask about the current spa inclusions attached to this category.

Deluxe Bures

Freestanding accommodation with room to spread out, a deck and separate areas for living and sleeping. These are among the options available to eligible families during Family Weeks.

Deluxe Pool Bures

A distinct pool category for guests who would like their own pool as part of the stay. Confirm this exact room name when booking; a standard Deluxe Bure does not automatically have a pool.

Baravi Pool Bure

Another private-pool option for an adult escape. We can compare its location and layout with the other pool categories and confirm the applicable spa package and guest arrangements.

Dining at Yasawa

Fresh island flavours, included in your stay

Meals, an all-day dining menu and selected drinks such as tea, coffee, bottled juices and soft drinks are included.

The open-air restaurant brings together local and international flavours, with private dining and beach-picnic arrangements adding variety.

Alcohol and selected extras are additional. This includes handcrafted drinks such as smoothies and mocktails, and bottled water; filtered drinking water is available. Room-service delivery can also carry a charge. We’ll make the inclusions clear in your quote.

Tell us about dietary requirements early, especially serious allergies. The resort has one kitchen and a remote location, so individual needs should be confirmed before you travel.

Spa and special occasions

Make time for yourselves

A spa treatment, a quiet deck and a long stretch of beach make an appealing combination.

Tropical flowers, towels and a treatment bowl prepared for a Yasawa Island Resort spa experience

Yasawa’s spa offers massages, facials and body treatments, with couples’ options available.

Treatments are normally an additional charge. An optional spa package offers a treatment for each night of the stay, subject to its booking conditions; selected pool-bure arrangements may already include a package for two. We’ll check the details so you know exactly what is covered.

For a honeymoon, anniversary or small celebration, ask us about room choices, private dining and current special-occasion arrangements. Extras and availability are confirmed individually.

Included experiences

Discover the island with local guides

The scheduled programme includes guided boat snorkelling with equipment, nature walks, cultural demonstrations and village experiences, alongside kayaks, paddleboards and other non-motorised activities. Private beach picnics can be arranged subject to availability and conditions.

The scheduled Blue Lagoon Caves excursion is included, but the local entrance fee or village contribution is paid separately. Water conditions, swimming confidence and the guide’s advice determine suitability. Excursions generally pause on Sundays, apart from the opportunity to attend the village church.

Families and optional adventures

Choose the right dates and experiences

Children under 16 are welcomed only during designated Family Weeks. Bure Suites, Deluxe Bures and the Two-Bedroom Bure offer eligible family configurations; children are not accepted in the pool-bure categories under our current arrangements.

Scuba diving, fishing, spa treatments and additional or private excursions outside the scheduled programme are extra. The introductory pool scuba session is different from an ocean dive or certification course. Ask us about current dive availability, qualifications and medical requirements, and plan the necessary no-fly interval.

Resort-arranged air transfers

The usual journey is a flight of around 30 minutes from Nadi to Yasawa’s private airstrip, followed by a short resort vehicle transfer. All air arrangements must be coordinated through the resort. The daily resort-chartered service is shared with other guests; a private air charter is a separately quoted option.

Selected offers include scheduled flights for two guests per bure. Extra guests, children, private charters and changes of aircraft can create additional charges, so flight inclusions must be checked for your dates and party.

Connections and practical details

Flights operate in daylight and are subject to weather, aircraft and payload limits. The current baggage allowance is 23kg per person combined for checked and cabin luggage. Passenger-weight and seating restrictions also apply; tell us any requirements before booking so these can be checked privately with the operator.

We can arrange private ground transfers on the mainland when needed. Boat connections are possible only by specific arrangement and should not be treated as a routine direct ferry service. Allow time for international connections and a mainland overnight stay if required.
