The resort sits on Malolo Lailai, with gardens, walking trails, beachfront areas and a working marina. Its open-plan bures and two-bedroom villas offer different ways to stay, from a garden setting with children to a beachfront retreat for older guests.

The marina gives Musket Cove much of its character. Share a drink at the Island Bar, make time for the spa or head out on the water with the activities team. We’ll help you choose the accommodation and arrangements that fit your holiday.

Accommodation

Choose your garden, beachfront or waterfront stay

Musket Cove has six room categories. Room layouts, pools, age restrictions and bedding differ, so tell us who’s travelling and we’ll confirm the right option.

Garden Bures

Air-conditioned bures among the lawns and palms, with living space, a bathroom and a covered outdoor area. A good starting point for couples and families. Selected bures have outdoor showers; these should be specifically requested.

Beachfront Bures

Close to the beach, with high ceilings, a living area, covered terrace and hammock. These air-conditioned bures are reserved for guests aged 15 and over, making them a natural choice for couples and honeymooners.

Garden Villas

Two-bedroom, split-level villas for up to five guests, with two bathrooms, a kitchenette and outdoor space with a plunge pool. Consider the stairs and unfenced pool when travelling with young children.

More ways to stay

Lagoon Bures

Air-conditioned bures beside an inland canal, with overwater verandahs and easy access to the marina. This is a sheltered canal setting, rather than an ocean-overwater bungalow. Children’s eligibility and safety requirements must be confirmed for the booking.

Island Villas

Two bedrooms and two ensuite bathrooms, a living room, kitchenette and waterfront terrace, for up to four guests. The villas sit together on a small island and share a pool and barbecue area. They do not each have a private pool. Overwater terraces mean age and supervision arrangements require particular care.

Raintree Rooms

Hotel-style rooms in Raintree House, with a shared verandah and a choice of ground-floor or upstairs locations. Selected ground-floor rooms interconnect, subject to availability. Ask us to confirm access, bedding and child eligibility for your specific booking.

Dining

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are part of the stay

Standard resort stays include daily meals for the booked guests under the applicable room and extra-person arrangements.

Dick’s Place Bar & Bistro, Trader Café and the Island Bar offer different settings, with meal choices and service times set by the resort.

At the Island Bar, you can order eligible café dishes or enjoy a cook-your-own barbecue pack arranged in advance. Meals are taken at one outlet per mealtime. Snacks, extra orders, some daily specials, private dining and food outside the included service times can cost extra.

Drinks are generally additional, apart from the specified breakfast beverages. Tell us about dietary requirements before booking so we can check the kitchen’s arrangements. Meal-inclusive does not mean unlimited food and drinks throughout the day.

Couples and downtime

Leave some time for Makare Spa

Makare Spa sits within tropical gardens, with treatment bures and a relaxation space.

Book a massage or other treatment, then return to the beach, pool or your own verandah. Spa treatments and special packages are an additional charge.

Couples can choose a Beachfront Bure, take a sunset cruise or plan a special dinner. Small groups can compare the two-bedroom villa layouts. For a honeymoon or celebration, ask us to check current offers and the arrangements available for your dates.

Island activities

Snorkel, paddle and explore

Complimentary activities include a low-tide sandbank snorkelling trip, snorkelling equipment, kayaks, paddleboards and selected cultural or land-based activities. Conditions, tides and the programme determine what operates.

Scuba diving with the local PADI operator, fishing, surf trips, island excursions, private charters and bicycle hire carry additional charges unless a package expressly includes them. We’ll help you check age, ability, certification and medical requirements for any activity you want to plan. Wildlife sightings and particular sea conditions cannot be guaranteed.

Travelling with children

Family time with flexible support

Musket Cove welcomes families but does not operate a conventional kids club. The team offers activities suited to the children staying, with parental supervision required for some. Paid nanny care can be arranged in advance, subject to availability.

Garden accommodation is a useful starting point for younger families. Beachfront Bures have a minimum age of 15, while waterfront verandahs and villa pools need careful consideration. Tell us your children’s ages so we can check room eligibility, bedding, meal charges and any required safety acknowledgement.

A straightforward island connection

Scheduled catamaran from Port Denarau

Malolo Cat connects Port Denarau and Musket Cove, with a crossing of roughly 50–60 minutes. The shared service has a set timetable, so we’ll check it against your flight arrival and departure and allow for check-in, baggage and mainland travel.

Private road transfers and charter options

We can arrange a private vehicle between Nadi Airport or your mainland hotel and Port Denarau. This ground transfer is separate from the shared ferry. A private speedboat can be quoted for a more flexible journey, subject to the operator’s availability and weather assessment.

Helicopter transfers are also available, with a flight from Nadi of around ten minutes as a guide. Flight scheduling, daylight, weather and baggage or passenger-weight limits apply. Private air travel must be specifically requested and confirmed.

Your quote will identify the transfer type and what is included. A mainland overnight stay may still be needed around late arrivals, early departures or disruption.
