Set in the Mamanuca Islands, this 100% Fijian family-owned resort has only 46 bures. That smaller scale is part of its appeal. Paths wind through tropical gardens, the ocean is always close and the welcome feels personal rather than corporate.
There are no televisions in the bures, encouraging families to switch off from home and spend more time together. Days can begin with a buffet breakfast, continue with a swim or paddle across the lagoon and finish over dinner as the sun sets over the island.

Activities and independence for different ages
Tia’s Tree House Kids Club keeps children aged 4–12 years busy with a daily program shaped around culture, creativity, games and the island environment. Tweens and teenagers have a separate lounge where they can meet people their own age. Parents can use the resort’s adult areas, enjoy the spa or take time beside the beach, knowing the younger members of the family have plenty happening too.
Kayaks, paddleboards, catamarans and snorkelling equipment allow families to explore the lagoon at their own pace. Guided walks and cultural activities bring everyone back together and offer a deeper connection with Fiji beyond the beach.
Your Oceanview Bure near the beach
Oceanview Bures sit within the tropical gardens only a short distance from the shoreline. Each provides a relaxed island base for two adults and two children, with space to recharge between the pool, restaurants, Kids Club and beach.
The accommodation reflects Malolo’s traditional Fijian character. It feels connected to the island rather than like a hotel room transported into a tropical setting.
A straightforward journey from New Zealand
After your flight arrives at Nadi International Airport, a private TTF vehicle takes your family to Port Denarau. From there, South Sea Cruises continues to Malolo Island Resort. The return journey is included, and our Forever Fiji team can coordinate suitable connections with your international flights.

Adult meals are based on the applicable adult meal plan, with a maximum of two adults per room. Children’s buffet meals are served in Terrace Restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
